The Dave Krache Foundation

"Helping local kids in need play the sports they love."

Using a need-based application process, the small non-profit helps kids when families are in dire financial stress and need support beyond what the family and fundraising efforts can cover.

H.A.S. Foundation

H.A.S. Foundation, Inc. was established in 2015 to provide need based scholarships to young athletes to participate in recreational team sports in our community. Our mission is to make sure any athlete who wants to play a recreational team sport in our community, regardless of household financial situation, doesn’t have to sit on the sideline and watch the other kids score.

Dicks Sporting Goods/Every Kid Sports

The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation is proud to announce a $5,000,000 Sports Matter grant to Every Kid Sports, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, to provide income restricted families financial assistance to cover registration fees and help ensure every kid has a chance to play.

At Every Kid Sports, they believe every kid deserves the chance to play sports. Why? The positive impact and outcomes experienced through participation. They partner with individuals and organizations to fund their every kid sports pass. This program removes the financial obstacle of participation.

Scholarship Requirements

Per GA Buckeyes guidelines, all families will need to register their athletes and families must pay, out of their own funds, a portion of the registration fee. This requirement may be waived in extreme cases.

Note that scholarship funds do not pay fees associated with volunteer or for equipment deposits.  Once GA Buckeyes has received the completed registration and payment, the remaining balance will be allocated to your account.

In addition, we ask that you/your athlete participates in the mandatory organization fundraisers, your athlete attend at least 80% of scheduled games and practices and families of recipients volunteer a minimum of 3x throughout the season.

GA Buckeyes has the ability to revoke a scholarship at any time should participants be in violation of the GA Buckeyes codes of conduct or do not adhere to the above requirements.

All scholarship award notifications will be sent by email no later than July 31, 2024.
